What the working does
Most enquiries to this desk resolve into one of three categories: a readied working the petitioner did not find in the catalogue; a matter properly handled by a solicitor, a physician or a veterinarian; or a request concerning another person’s will.
The first we are glad to take. The second we will say so plainly and without charge. The third is declined at any fee and in any framing.

Brought by the petitioner
Set at consultation. Petitioners are asked to bring nothing to the first sitting but an account of the matter in their own words, and not to tidy it.
Limits & refusals
No working upon another person’s will, health, memory, affection or livelihood. No working upon a person who has not asked for one. No working undertaken in anger; this is assessed at consultation and the assessment is final.
Term & afterwards
Commissioned files are retained forty years. A petitioner may request their own file at any time. Practitioner notes are not redacted.
