Shipping & returns
The collection is sold out, so at present nothing is dispatched at all. What follows is what happens when a batch is released.
01Dispatch
Preparations are filled and sealed by hand in Geneva. Orders within Switzerland and the European Union are sent from the atelier. Orders elsewhere are sent from Kenosha, Wisconsin, from stock moved there on release.
A preparation leaves within three working days of a release. Nothing is dispatched between releases, because between releases there is nothing to dispatch.
02Carriage
Complimentary on orders above $250, and charged at cost below it. Duty and import charges are payable by the recipient and are not within our control.
03Where we send
Switzerland, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Japan.
Some countries restrict the importation of cosmetics containing material of human origin. Where we know of such a restriction we do not ship, and where we are uncertain we ask the authority before we take payment rather than after.
04Returning a preparation
Unopened, with the seal intact, within thirty days of delivery, for a full refund including outward carriage. Write to the desk first and you will be sent a return label.
Once opened, a preparation cannot be returned. This is not a commercial preference. A preparation is compounded from one batch, is never blended with another, and cannot be put back into the one it came from.
05Damage in transit
Tell the desk within fourteen days and send a photograph. We replace from the same batch where any of it remains.
Where none remains we refund in full, and we will not offer a different preparation as a substitute. No batch stands in for another.
06Returning a working
A working cannot be returned. Some carry their own remedy instead, and where they do it is stated on that working’s page rather than here:
Quiet Fence is reversed on request, immediately, with no further fee. About one petitioner in seven asks. The Ninth Day returns the fee in full, without application, where the object is not recovered inside the term. Forty Dollars carries no remedy at all, and cannot be undone once the sum has been realised.
07Commissioned work
Cancellable without charge until the practitioner begins preparation, as set out in the terms. After that the fee is due whether or not the working proceeds to casting, because the preparation is the greater part of the work.
Anything here that is unclear can be asked about at the desk, and will be answered by a person rather than by a form. Contact the desk.
