Provenance
Donor 0031 is fifty-four, an experimental physicist holding a chair at a European institute. The arrangement dates from 2021 and is reviewed annually at his insistence.
He read our first assay protocol, corrected it in red pen and returned it by post. We adopted the corrections. The decimal places printed on this page are his, and the third fractionation pass — which adds cost and which our own chemists consider unnecessary — is his as well.
We have kept it.
Method
Fractionated in three passes rather than the customary one. Blended cold into a lighter base than No. 01, with niacinamide raised to 4%. Filled into apothecary phial glass, 28 units per collection.
Application
Evening only, to clean skin, after any acid or retinoid step has fully absorbed. Two pumps, pressed rather than rubbed.
Not recommended alongside a second brightening agent in the same routine.

Batch LA-0031 is traceable to one donor, one collection and one compounding. Donor consent is held in writing, renewable, and terminable by the donor at any time without notice.

Eight weeks in. Tone is measurably more even along the jaw, which is where I have always had trouble.
Expensive, and I will keep buying it. The texture is unusually light for something this rich.
